Making Memories

Making Memories

Summer camp. Field trips. After-school sports. Senior prom. Music lessons. School pictures. These kinds of extracurricular activities help children learn social skills, build confidence and just have fun. But too often, foster children miss out of these opportunities. While foster parents get aid to reimburse them for expenses, payments provide a basic standard of living – and not much else. Children who have been removed from their homes because of abuse or neglect deserve better than the loneliness that comes from not participating in the same activities are their peers. Your gift provides the “little extras” that are so important to a child. One hundred percent of your donation goes to cover the costs of these special “memories.”
